Product Use Information

To assist you in the proper use/application, care and storage of your

products it is of the upmost importance that you follow these guidelines.

PLEASE NOTE :

ALL our products are for external use only.
ALWAYS keep it out of reach of young children and animals.
AVOID eyes, lips and sensitive areas.

Despite the pure and natural nature of our products, some people react or are allergic to entirely natural substances - for example the highly alkaline treated water in cities alone can exacerbate skin conditions. Whilst allergic reactions are extremely rare and unexpected, Soap Goddess cannot be responsible for allergies to products and resultant ailments if any. We strongly suggest that you patch test* (see below) any new product before its continued usage. If any redness or itching occurs discontinue use.

Patch Testing

Apply a small amount of any new product to clean skin inside the elbow or behind the ear. Cover and leave for 24 hours. Human skin changes daily, affected by emotions, diet, hormones, and the climate, and as with all cosmetic products, what suited you yesterday may not today, even though our formula and ingredients have not changed at all, and unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible/accountable for this. It is especially important to undertake this patch testing if you are prone to sensitive skin, eczema, and psoriasis to avoid flareups.

Soap

How to Use

Wet the bar of soap with water.
Rub it in your hands or a washcloth to build up a rich lather.
Wash your skin gently, avoid eyes and sensitive areas.
Rinse well with clean water.
Using a washcloth or sponge will create more lather, so you use less soap per wash.

Care Instructions

To prolong the life of your bar of soap:-

Keep in a cool dry place away from direct water flow and sunlight.
Allow to air-dry on a well-draining soap dish.
Avoid letting the bar sit in standing water – do not leave the soap in the bottom of a wet sink or direct shower stream.

Storage

Store unused bars in a cool dark and dry place like a linen/towel closet (it will also make your linen/towels smell good).
Store in a dry closet with airflow rather than in a plastic bag.
Extra time in storage hardens the bar, making it last even longer once used.
Save the Scraps – put the tiny left over slivers into a mesh soap saver bag.

Creams

Product Application

To apply the cream, utilize the provided spatula to gently spread it onto the face and/or body, while avoiding contact with water, as the absence of preservatives may lead to bacterial growth and mold formation and may cause it to become moldy and unusable and we cannot be held accountable/ responsible for this.
For optimal results, apply the cream to slightly damp skin to enhance moisture retention, particularly after showering, bathing, or washing hands.
If the cream is too firm, warm it between your fingers or in the palm of your hand before application to facilitate easier spreading. Your body temperature will aid in melting the cream.
It is recommended to conduct a patch test on a small area prior to full application to ensure no adverse reactions occur.
If the skin feels oily 30 minutes after application, reduce the amount used (a little goes a long way). The product should be fully absorbed well within 30 minutes.
This versatile cream can be utilized as a moisturizer, day cream, an overnight skin repair balm (helping to restore moisture, calm inflammation and strengthen the skin barrier while you sleep), or treatment for dry patches and minor skin irritations, and can be applied as frequently as desired.
This cream can be applied to your face, neck, arms, legs, back, feet, hand and any dry patches on the body.
Avoid applying the cream to the eyes and sensitive areas.
Our Whipped Tallow Face and Body Cream is a 100% natural product, free from chemicals, synthetic additives and preservatives, making it suitable for various skin types, including dry and sensitive skin. However, the essential oils may cause irritation for some – please contact us should you require a customised product, we are more than happy to work with you.

Storage

Keep in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to preserve its freshness and effectiveness.
Do NOT leave the cream in your car, (especially in summer) as the heat can make it melt and cause it to become unusable and we cannot be held accountable/ responsible for this.
The cream can last for several months when stored correctly and properly.
